What is it all about?
My marriage has sometimes felt like a roller coaster! One season, we are thriving, and the next, we find ourselves triggering each other without understanding why. Year seven was a turning point—I realized how challenging things had become. Balancing marriage, four kids, work, church, and discovering my identity as a woman felt overwhelming.
While I recognized areas where my husband could improve, I made a conscious choice to focus on myself. I realized that expending energy trying to control his actions was unproductive, so I redirected that energy toward my own growth. I prayed to God, believing in His ability to perform miracles, and sought restoration in my marriage. This journey, though challenging, was transformative. God revealed to me how to be the wife He intended for His daughters to be, and it changed everything.
Now, as I approach 18 years of marriage, my husband and I share a deeper connection than ever. We transitioned from living two separate lives to actively serving in our marriage ministry at our church, helping other couples navigate their challenges.
